Programmatic Assembly & Sandboxed Compiling
Unlike simple chat scripts that print flat text, Clio is a full-scale digital compilation studio. When you prompt Clio to build a slide presentation or a complex multi-chapter calculus workbook, the platform launches a multi-agent system:
- Ephemeral Docker Compiles: The code assembler writes clean Python scripts that execute within high-security, sandboxed Docker compilation nodes. If the code compiles within the 30-second security limit, the file is converted into ready-to-print binaries.
- LaTeX & jsPDF Libraries: All conceptual mathematical formulas are compiled using standard native LaTeX formats. Standard presentation slides utilize high-performance jsPDF and PptxGenJS clients to assemble elements on the fly.
- 100% User Ownership: In alignment with LearnAdapt production guidelines, you retain absolute ownership over all compiled textbooks, slide decks, and worksheets. There are no royalty structures or downstream usage restrictions.

Clio utilizes the unified LearnAdapt CreditGate billing engine, allowing users to spend balance seamlessly across platforms:
- Worksheet Generation: Deducts 50 credits per completed worksheet compile (includes vector diagram renders).
- Slideshow Compilation: Deducts 100 credits per compiled course presentation deck.
- Syllabus Curation: Deducts 100 credits to structure and map course sequences.
- Deep-Research Textbooks: Deducts 5,000 credits for comprehensive multi-chapter print-ready curriculum compilations.
